i am a storyteller, first and foremost. with my camera as my quill, i have a passion for capturing still photographs that come to life in a magical storybook for your unique wedding day.  a day that i consider to be a once-in-a-lifetime event in a couple's life, which deserves to be documented with respect and creativity, in a collection of heartfelt images that your children, and their children, will see with their own eyes one day and find themselves smiling and laughing with tears of joy...  as if they were reliving the day right there again with you.

a powerful photograph is a timeless connection to our loved ones not only today, but for generations to come. the photographer you choose to capture these images of your wedding day is crucial, and should be someone who is literally in tune with your personal vision of what wedding story that you desire to be told. someone who has intangible skills to not only snap random pictures, but to follow the natural rhythm of the day to capture heartfelt images that will bring the emotions back to life in the future.

i love to begin photographing a bride and groom as they are getting ready before the ceremony, and continue capturing the magic of the day well into the evening as the reception is in full swing. i assure you that i will have no other commitments on your wedding day, except to create this living storybook of your wedding day. although i specialize in wedding photojournalism, i have found from experience that it is important to also capture some family portraits at one point during the day, but rest assured that i take them creatively and efficiently, so everyone can quickly return to celebrating the day together.

with over a decade of experience as an award-winning documentary filmmaker, having told stories as diverse as nurses in pakistan to girls competing in moscow on the women's pro tennis tour, i now turn my lenses to document the beauty and magic of weddings and other special family events.
